PHYTO Educates Attendees at Hair+ Summit

PHYTO took a little trip to the ATL for the Hair+ Summit, the only industry event helping salon pros offer their clients hair and scalp wellness solutions. Many dermatologists and leading experts in the field were in attendance, spurring some important dialogue regarding hair health. It’s the perfect combination of topics and issues that combine function with fashion in the hair care world.
Because we are all about that scalp, we brought our favorite expert, Dr. Dina, with us to drop some knowledge around hair thinning and hair loss. It’s a topic gaining more attention lately as clients are more frequently asking their stylists and physicians about how to address these issues. However, many are still embarrassed to inquire, so this event helps salon professionals understand how best to discuss with clients – both from an educational and compassionate standpoint.
PHYTO believes in educating others on how to keep your hair and scalp as healthy as possible, so this show was the perfect opportunity to shine a light on our formulas that help combat hair loss. Coupled with Dr. Dina’s talk, it was our mission to empower salon professionals with an arsenal of information they could use with their clients.
Dr. Dina highlighted the importance of getting to the root of the hair loss issues instead of just haphazardly trying products. She broke down the different types of hair loss, determining types of alopecia, deciding on the right treatments and the importance of seeing a dermatologist to achieve a proper diagnosis.
The event included focusing on areas such as Trichology (the science of hair and its diseases), extensions, thinning hair, health, wellness and scalp care and enhancements.
It was a hugely successful show and while PHYTO attended with the intention of spreading the word about powerful solutions created from botanicals, we also never stop learning so that we can continue to provide you with the most innovative and impactful haircare.
