Happy Earth Day from PHYTO!

It’s one of our favorite times of year. With a brand built on the unbelievable power of botanicals, we love celebrating Earth Day. Especially right now with all of the heaviness in the world. It feels like a good time to think about the magic of mother nature, what she gives us and how we can give back. Every day we see little miracles all around us – the shining sun, billowy clouds, and of course all of the gorgeous flowers and trees, including the ones that give us the plant power to fill PHYTO product bottles.

You can give back to the earth in so many easy ways. Make sure you are recycling. Perhaps take a trip to the beach to clean up some items others carelessly left behind. Take your own bags grocery shopping to eliminate wasteful plastic and paper.

At PHYTO, giving back to the planet is always a top priority. We are constantly seeking out initiatives where we get to come together as a team to help the environment. For example, last year our team visited The Coral Restoration Foundation. It’s the largest coral reef restoration effort on the planet and we were able to learn about the importance of preserving our coral reefs and the impact they have in our world.

We also donate regularly to 1% For the Planet a global network made up of businesses, individuals and non-profits dedicated to addressing our planet’s most important issues and challenges. This year, we are donating to Free Plastic, an organization that works hard to repurpose otherwise harmful plastic pollution for manufacturing.

We cannot control everything that happens in our world. But we can make a socially responsible impact by getting involved in environmental causes, big and small.
