Summer is in full swing! It’s essential that you protect your hair from sun damage. UVA and UVB rays can damage the outer layer of your hair no matter the hair type, contributing to split ends, discoloration, frizziness, breakage and destroy moisture in your hair.

Summer Haircare Tips

 

  1. Don’t forgo the H2O! You know that water is essential for your body, but did you know that water is essential for your hair? Water makes up roughly 25% of the volume of a single strand of hair! Filling up your water bottle and staying hydrated throughout the summer will keep your gorgeous locks looking and feeling nourished all summer long.

  2. Mask up! Chlorine and Saltwater can rob hair of its natural oils, damaging cuticles, while contributing to hair breakage and weaker strands. You can prevent this damage by using a hair mask with jojoba oil that seals in moisture and is enriched with proteins to strengthen your strands.
