Gearing up for travel comes with some due diligence. There’s planning your wardrobe, packing efficiently, booking airfare and hotels and of course taking in the local culture of wherever you are headed. And these days there is no shortage of information swimming around the internet about what to do and see in every corner of the world. Everyone wants to make the most of their travel experience, particularly when it’s a special destination.

Paris is exactly that. It’s encompassed in history, culture and beauty at every turn. There is so much to soak in that sometimes it’s overwhelming to know where to start. But you know what they say…if you want to know what you should experience in a new place, start with the locals!

Thankfully, you have a local friend in Paris – PHYTO!

It’s true! While PHYTO has a presence all over the world, Paris is our home. Our labs have been there since the beginning and it’s where all of the magic happens to create our botanical formulas. It’s a place of beauty and inspiration and we can’t wait to share it with you!

So, we have pulled together a short list of some must-dos in Paris.

What to Eat

No trip is complete without tasting delicious, local cuisine, right? We have two spots at the top of our list that we always recommend.

L' AgrumE for that Michelin Star experience. Treat yourself to incredible food at reasonable prices.

La Boissonnière is a must! This bar serves up an array of delicious fromage, charcuterie and of course, wine.

What to Do

There are so many breathtaking sights and things to do in Paris. But we do have some favorites.

Saint Germain Des Pres offers an artsy neighborhood bustling with music, posh shops, cafes, literature, churches and so much more.

Jardin des Tuileries is perfect because it’s nestled right between the highly-acclaimed Louvre and Place de la Concorde.

If perusing art isn’t your thing, no problem. Why not grab a fresh, crusty baguette and stroll the grounds around this beautiful garden? There are excellent picnic-esque spots and enough people watching to keep you occupied all day. If you’re lucky enough to catch a Petanque game, you’re already living like a local.

A Treat for Your Hair

It wouldn’t be a PHYTO approved trip to Paris without a visit to the world-renowned Patrick Alès Salon. If you are a PHYTO fan, this is like the mothership. Just a few steps from the Champs Elysées, with a magical view on the tree-lined Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, Patrick Alès’ salon offers 350 square meters of light-bathed space with a careful, chic decor. Complete with 14 styling stations and five private cabins, this high-fashion styling spot provides a complete beauty process for over-booked, constantly on-the-go, Parisians. A menu filled with manicures, pedicures, body modeling, and facials, offer the chance to be beautiful from head to toe. We’ll even set you up with lunch during your day of beautification.

#InstaGood

Montmartre is one of those Instagram-worthy spots. Beautiful cafes and bistros and of course, the Basilica are the perfect landscapes for those amazing pictures to fill your feed. If you want to capture that quieter and more chill vibe, take a stroll down the charming streets while sipping a coffee or even some wine, because…when in Paris.

However you choose to spend your time in Paris, we know it will be magical. We hope you enjoy the place we are proud to call home and come visit again soon.
