At PHYTO we love your questions. There are some questions we get frequently so we thought we’d share the most common ones received. Why not kick off your week with some fresh PHYTO knowledge?

1. What happened to PHYTHÉOL?

We gave PHYTHÉOL a little update. PHYTHÉOL INTENSE has been replaced by PHYTOSQUAM Intense Exfoliating Treatment Shampoo and you are going to love it.  Our updated formula to combat dandruff still exfoliates and treats dandruff while also helping prevent it from returning. Our new formula rapidly removes dandruff and instantly reduces the sensation of discomfort some experience. PHYTOSQUAM should be used as a 2-week treatment and applied section by section on a dry scalp. Simply, gently massage into your scalp and hair and leave on for 5 to 7 minutes. Then, emulsify with water and rinse thoroughly. To maintain its anti-dandruff efficacy and avoid re-occurrences, use the PHYTOSQUAM Maintenance Shampoo best suited to your scalp type, PHYTOSQUAM OILY or DRY.

2. Why PHYTO doesn't have conditioners anymore?

Our masks can actually be used as conditioners when you're on the run, or as a full treatment when you let them work their magic for 2 to 5 minutes.

3. Should I use a conditioner/mask after my thinning treatment?

Our thinning treatments are meant to act on the scalp, so we recommend continuing with your choice of conditioner/mask after using the shampoo.

4. Can I mix and match the products?

5.  Why the new plastic bottles?

Because we made them even better by making sure PHYTO’s new packaging is 100% recyclable. We use clear PET bottles so that our formulas are visible. They deserve their moment in the spotlight! Plus, since they are perfectly “squeezable” for ease of use, you can get right down to the last drop. That means no wasted product! The changes also make them more accessible on shelves and eco-friendly with no outer packaging and you get 25% more product. Additionally, our cardboard boxes come from sustainably managed forests and are FSC certified. (Forest Stewardship Council certification).
